I am a list person. I think in lists. I stay organized with bulleted lists. Lists, lists, lists…
To do this month:
- Get back into blogging mode!
- Read Organizational Culture and Leadership chapters before class at the end of the month
- Reread data chapters before co-teaching weekly admin credential classes
- Maintain websites (work, personal, etc.)
- Heal my back… rest, meditation, yoga, etc.
- Walk 10,000 every day
- Go to the beach!
- Stay on the healthy bandwagon
- Clean! There is always something to clean (laundry, house, office, car)
- Catch up with old friends
- Celebrate my birthday!
- Chill out once in awhile!
Do you think in lists?
What are you most looking forward to this month?
I guess I’m not the only one with lists. I plan and organize with lists, It’s what keeps me going and making sure i accomplish as much as possible. Of course, cleaning is always at the bottom and doesn’t always get done
Exactly right Veronica!!
Yes! I love lists! Mine are usually scattered on post it notes, but I need to digitize them somehow. I’m most looking forward to crossing 10,000 steps a day off my list of things to do and the feeling of routine with my students and co-workers.
Thank you for reading and sharing! I love post it notes!
I used to be a list person. I would make lists on my day planner, lists on my teacher’s planning books, etc. Ten years later, I have learned to think more in chunks of time. While I might not accomplish smaller, less important details or large, expensive home improvements, I have found it to be an effective time management tool for the day to day events I find of importance. I block off time for reading, exercise, cooking, writing/reflecting, work, rest, etc. I do, however, utilize short lists within my blocks of time!.
I do the same! Blocks of time, then lists!
