Passport Renewal

After returning from a quick trip to Vancouver, Canada last month, I knew now was an ideal time to renew my passport, before my 2027 vacations are booked. Looking back at this passport I have had since 2017, I have so many fond memories from amazing trips. In the last 9 years I have been blessed to be able traveled internationally to:

  • Canada – Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, and Banff
  • Iceland
  • London, England
  • Turks and Caicos
  • Grenada
  • Namibia
  • South Africa
  • Frankfurt, Germany
  • Ecuador – Quito and The Galapagos Islands
  • Panama
  • Antigua
  • Mexico
  • Vietnam

I love to travel! Each of these trips was filled with cultural experiences, new foods, new adventures, downtime with friends, exploring new places, using my Spanish or attempting to use a new language, and learning about people and places vastly different than America. I have thousands (literally!) of pictures from these beautiful lands, with architecture, nature, food, and significant landmarks all captured, along with a lot of silly selfies. One of my greatest wishes to help heal the discord in our country would be for more Americans to have the ability to travel internationally.

According to the been app, I have visited 25 countries and 12% of the world so far. I have visited approximately 55 of the1,273 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, which is only 4.3%. There is so much more to see. High on my list to visit soon: Portugal, Chile, New Zealand, and Switzerland. Here’s to hoping my new passport leads to just as many amazing adventures as my last one!

  • Australia (flashback to two passports ago at least!)
